Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop the implant which has superior stress distrbiution and primary stability to others by using Instron test and finite element method.
The model used in the experiment were cylinder type implant, tapered screw type implant, screw type implants.
Recognizing that the number of samples were small and the lack of applying press-fit conditions to the cylinder type, we can make the following conclusions.
1. Tapered Screw type implant has the better primary stability under the 10 kg.f laterial force.
2. Tapered Screw type shows the less relative motion and better stress distribution under 100 N compressive force.
